Our Instructors

Candain Callahan
Candain Callahan attending Canyon Highschool 2014-2018. She finished her high school career being the Top 5 in the nation in homeruns. She then earned a scholarship to play D1 softball at The University of North Texas 2018-2021. Candain was the starting short stop for UNT. Candain is an assistant coach for 18u Impact Gold Premier-Bryant. She has been giving private lessons since 2020. She teaches: hitting, slapping, fielding and throwing techniques.

Misty Bryant
Misty Bryant played at Denton Ryan High School 2008-2011. She earned a scholrship to play at Cameron University in Oklahoma 2011-2015. While at Cameron she made history and helped the team to a Regional tournament her Junior and Senior year. She is the Director of Diamond Express Softball and also coaches a 18u Impact Gold Premier team. She has been giving private lessons since 2019. She teaches: hitting, slapping.

Kennedy Crites
Kennedy played at Eaton High School and Impact Gold. She then went to play at Texas Tech University and just graduated in 2024. Kennedy was Big 12 All Tournament team in 2024. In 2023, she led the Big 12 with runners caught stealing. Also in 2023, she was voted Team Defensive Player of the Year. Her senior season she batted .330. Kennedy just started giving private lessons and has been very successful since she started. She focuses on: Catching.

Hunter Robichaux
Hunter played at Westlake Academy and the Dallas Mustangs under Pat Combs and Jonathan Hampton 2012-2015. He then went to play at Bucknell University from 2016-2019. Hunter signed a free agent contract with Florence Freedom of the Frontier League. He signed a free-agent contract with Cincinnati Reds. He then retired from baseball due to a injury. Hunter has been coaching private lessons and select teams since 2019. He focuses on: Pitching.

Stephen Guevara
Stephen played at Abilene Christian University and is now a head coach for Diamond Express. Stephen brings a ton of knowledge and passion for the game. He focuses on: Hitting and Catching.

Maryssa Edwards
Maryssa Edwards, born in Kingman, Arizona, graduated from Kingman Academy of Learning, where she played softball and volleyball. After pitching at Scottsdale Community College for three years, she earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan and now resides in Keller, Texas, selling insurance and giving pitching lessons. With five years of softball coaching experience, she specializes in pitching and leads various camps and activities. Currently, she is the head coach of the 16U travel ball team, 643 Fastpitch, while collaborating with varsity coach Johnny Isom at Liberty Christian Athletics. Her coaching philosophy, "pocket the moment," emphasizes focusing on key sensations to enhance athletic success.

Ava Fairbanks

Ava is from California and played on the highest level of select teams such as; Firecrackers Brashear, Cal Cruisers Seivers, and SoCal Athletics Richardson. Ava then went to play D1 at Bucknell University. She earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. She trained with Jen Shroeder for catching from 2014-2018. Ava has been coaching private lessons since 2015 and has helped multiple athletes reach D1 scholarships. She focuses on: Catching, Hitting, and Fielding.

Sid Hunter
Sid is a former collegiate athlete at Oklahoma Panhandle State University where he was a 2 sport athlete. He has coached at all levels, from college to select ball where he is currently a coach for 16u Diamond Express Hunter. His purpose for coaching is to give back to the younger generation and help shape their game and help build confidence that they need to be successful not only in sports but in life. He specializes in: Hitting, Fielding, and Catching.
